I was introduced to the world on the 24th of april 1982. I study Applied Computer Sciences at
the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. This year I finally hope to graduate.
As child I was fascinated within the synthesizer from listening to great great artists like Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre and Jan Hammer.
At the age of eight I started following musical theorem courses and started taking keyboard lessons.
During my teenage years I stopped playing music altogether which I still regret to this day.
What the hell was I thinking? Damn you girls :-)
Gladly when I turned 18 and finally had the money, I bought my first second
hand synthesizer, a Roland XP-60, followed by a virtual analogue synthesizer,
the Oberheim OB-12. After experimenting and trading lots of hardware equipment,
I finally came to my current setup, which involves my lovely Clavia Nord Lead 3.
After a longtime of just playing realtime, friends of mine convinced me approximately six months ago to try recording the keys I pressed. Much time passed while learning the basics of
sequencing and music productions, creating tons of amateur songs.
Appearantly, I'm coming currently at a stage where songs appear to sound 'professional', as some say. Mastering is an art upon its own, which I am now trying to learn. Still a long way to go :)
